These low voltage lights are designed for wet area use, they are available in your choice of "accent" or cleated design. The cleat version safely moors boats up to 28 feet in length. Both designs feature a 7-watt, 12-volt, 20,000-hour Xenon lamp with high impact glass-filled white nylon shrouds. They also include silicone sealed connections and stainless steel mounting hardware. Recommended spacing for each fixture is 8-16 feet apart. Replacement bulbs (Rockler #53414) rated to 20,000 hours are also available. This low voltage system requires a transformer and low voltage cable.
We offer two wet area rated transformers (Rockler #s 53422 and 53429), ideal for use around decks, docks, pools or recreational use wet areas. Both transformers measure 8.4" X 4.22" X 5.5", have a stainless steel case and come with a 4 foot cord. Transformers require a separate timer (Rockler #53436). Timers can be set dusk to dawn or in 2-hour increments through 12 hours. Our 10 gauge 2-wire cable (Rockler #53444) comes 100 feet long.
